Caricaturist Harold Hugenholtz

Since Harold's childhood, Harold has been drawing caricatures on every piece of paper that came under his hands. He developed his drawing technique, during his education at the Design Academy in Eindhoven. After having drawn caricatures in the traditional way for years, he took the initiative to found Karikatuur.nl Here he developed his skills to draw digital caricatures.

During the last 20 years he has drawn over 200.000 caricature drawings, during his performances all over the world as well in his studio.

Growing up reading Suske en Wiske, Sandor dreamed of a career as a cartoonist from an early age. At the age of eight he invented his own cartoon character, invented stories, drew and put together his own comic books. In high school he enjoyed secretly drawing teachers in caricature during classes and thus his first steps as a caricaturist were taken. He was soon asked to also draw live at parties. After studying at the Art Academy, Sandor ultimately chose to focus entirely on drawing caricatures, cartoons and a few comics.

After working alone for a number of years, he joined forces with colleague and friend Harold Hugenholtz in mid-2023.
